For our pop art assignment, we were asked to choose a single photo, change the threshold, and the color, four times, to create a piece similar to Andy Warhol's paintings. The final products were extremely different from the originals, which can be seen below. The 4 images are now squared with a different threshold and colors, creating an interesting piece. Through this project, I learned how to change the color and format of photos I take. I also learned how to better navigate photoshop when it comes to finding the correct buttons and saving photos properly. After I had done all the steps through multiple times, I could then navigate myself to the end product without looking at the instructions.

For this project, we were asked to research 11 different types of composition techniques and then go out and shoot photos that demonstrated each one. The strategies we learned during this assignment are: rule of thirds, balance, color, depth of field, lines, pattern, perspective, space, symmetry, texture, and framing. Throughout this week, I learned how to set up my photos so they can turn out better than they had before. Even just angling my camera a different way changed the shot dramatically. I learned different ways to compose my shots so they draw the readers eye in the way I want.
